• get ahead of oneself: 조급하게 행동하다
• cool-headedly: 침착하게
• lose one's cool: 평정심을 잃다
• slack off: 게으름을 피우다
• at the last minute: 막판에
• have (good) presence of mind: 신중하다
• sound judgement: 좋은 판단력
• let something slide: ~을 그냥 지나치다
• right a wrong: 잘못된 것을 바로잡다
• speak what's on one's mind: 생각대로 말하다
• downside to: ~의 단점
• speak bluntly: 직설적으로 말하다

They don't get ahead of themselves, and they act cool-headedly.

매사에 조급하게 행동하지 않고, 차분하게 대응한다.

 

They can't let injustice slide, so they do something to right a wrong.

불의를 보면 못 참는 성향이 있어서, 잘못된 것을 바로잡기 위해 뭔가 행동을 취한다.

to right의 right는 형용사나 부사가 아닌 동사로 사용되었어요.

 

The downside to this is that sometimes I speak bluntly and hurt people's feelings.

이러한 성격의 단점은 너무 직설적으로 말해서 남에게 상처를 주기도 한다는 것이다.

that은 보어자리에 온 접속사입니다.

 

She's a charmer.
