Talk about some manners you should follow at performances.

 

• take in a performance: 공연을 보러 가다
• skyrocket: 급증하다 ↔ nose dive: 폭락하다
• mind one's manners: 예절을 지키다
• be considerate of others: 남을 배려하다
• under one's breath: 낮은 목소리로
• set a phone to silent mode: 휴대폰을 무음으로 설정하다
• get on someone's nerves: ~의 신경을 거스르다
• go off: 울리다
• performance venue: 공연장
• flash photography: 플래시를 이용한 촬영
• abide by the rules: 규정을 따르다
• in an orderly fashion: 질서 정연하게
• rules of etiquette: 에티켓, 예절 규칙
• have a blast: 매우 즐기다   = have a ball

Many people attend these performances at once, so it's very important to mind one's manners and be considerate of others.

이러한 공연은 많은 사람들이 함께 관람하는 것이기 때문에 타인에 대한 배려와 예절을 지키는 것이 매우 중요하다.

When you have to say something, you should whisper under your breath to avoid bothering others.

말을 해야 할 때는 낮은 목소리로 귓속말을 해서, 다른 관람객에게 방해가 되지 않게 해야 한다.

 

When lots of people queue up to receive tickets or use the restrooms, you should stand in line in an orderly fashion.

티켓을 수령하거나 화장실을 이용할 때 사람이 많은 경우에는 줄을 서서 질서 있게 기다려야 한다.

 

I wanted to give them a piece of my mind.
