Group trips you took when you were in school

 

• when one was in school: 학창 시절에
• group trip: 단체여행 (school trip, field trip: 수학여행(야외로 나가서 체험하는 것) / picnic: 소풍(음식 싸가는 소풍)) 
• on the way to and from: 오가는 길에
• eat al fresco: 야외에서 식사하다 (=eat outdoors)
• bring up memories: 추억을 상기시키다

I remember going on various group trips when I was in school.

나는 학교 다닐 때 다양한 단체 여행을 갔던 기억이 난다.

 

Many people read the news on the way to and from work.

많은 사람들이 출퇴근 길에 뉴스를 읽는다.

 

I can remember eating al fresco for lunch with my friends.

점심을 친구들과 함께 야외에서 먹던 기억이 난다.

 

That brings me back.

옛날 생각 난다.
