Talk about when you have to make appointments or reservations.

 

• get one's hair done: 머리를 하다
• get looked over: 검진을 받다
• add insult to injury: 상황을 더욱 악화시키다     cf. Adding insult to injury: 설상가상으로 = To make matters worse
• dinner rush: 손님이 몰리는 저녁 식사 시간
• with time to spare: 충분한 시간을 남겨 놓고
• last-minute request: 촉박한 부탁     cf. last-minute: 막바지의 = right before something
• cut down on: ~을 절감하다

It's also good to make reservations to get looked over at a hospital.

병원 치료를 위해서도 예약을 꼭 하는 것이 좋다.

get looked over은 get checked up 이란 표현으로 바꾸어 쓸 수 있어요.

 

People go to the hospital when they are feeling under the weather, and having to wait can add insult to injury.

대부분 몸이 안 좋은 상태에서 가야 하기 때문에, 가서 기다리는 것이 고통스러울 수도 있기 때문이다.

On Fridays or weekends when there is a dinner rush, a reservation can prevent a wait.

특히 저녁 식사 손님이 많이 몰리는 금요일이나 주말에는 에약을 하고 가야 덜 기다릴 수 있다.
