I recently received an alert telling me to update the operating system on my laptop, so I got on with it.

최근엔 노트북의 운영 체제를 업데이트하라는 메시지가 떠서 진행을 했다.

 

The repair technician tried to fix it, but he said the only solution was to reinstall the OS from scratch.

수리 기사분이 수리를 해보려 했으나, 운영 체제를 아예 새로 까는 방법밖에 없다고 했다.

to reinstall은 to부정사 명사적 용법 중 보어에 해당합니다.

 

It took a long time, and I had to pay through the nose.

시간도 제법 오래 걸렸고, 비용도 많이 지불해야 했다.

 

It's driving me up the wall!

정말 미쳐 버리겠어!
