• form a community: 공동체를 이루다
• lay bare: 폭로하다
• high social standing: 높은 사회적 지위   = high social status
• be in a position of power: 권력을 누리다
• verbally abuse: 폭언을 하다
• treat someone unfairly: ~를 부당하게 대우하다
• use physical violence: 폭행을 하다
• commit sexual harassment: 성희롱을 자행하다
• psychological stress: 정신적 스트레스
• personal humiliation: 인격적인 모멸감
• a culture of mutual respect: 상호 존중의 문화

The employees of the company formed a community to lay bare the crimes of the owner family.

해당 기업의 직원들은 아예 커뮤니티를 만들어서, 사주 일가의 각종 범죄 사실을 폭로하기도 했다.

 

People who are in positions of power verbally abuse the weak, or treat them unfairly.

일부 특권 계층들이 힘없는 약자들에게 폭언을 하거나 불합리한 대우를 하는 경우가 많다.

 

It's important to establish a culture of mutual respect to eliminate such abuses of power.

무엇보다 타인을 존중하는 문화가 정착되어 이러한 갑질이 사라져야 한다.
