빨래 건조기는 해외에서는 오래전부터 사용되어 왔지만, 한국에서는 좀처럼 보편화되지 않았었다.

그러나 최근 들어서 건조기 판매가 급증하고 있다.

또한, 더욱 강화된 인공 지능을 이용한 로봇 청소기들도 판매가 늘고 있다.
