Although the country spared no effort to raise the birthrate, the figure was on a downward trend last year, as well.

출산율을 끌어올리기 위한 여러 가지 노력에도 불구하고, 작년 출산율도 역시 하락세를 면치 못했다.

 

The low birthrate is a pressing issue.

낮은 출산율은 시급한 사안이다.

 

In addition to financial support, we also need to beef up social systems for working parents.

이러한 금전적 지원과 더불어, 일하는 부모를 위한 사회적 시스템도 함께 보강되어야 한다.
