Talk about the housework you do at home.

 

• neat freak: 결벽증 환자 또는 매우 깔끔한 사람
• run the vacuum cleaner: 진공청소기를 돌리다   = vacuum the floor
• rag: 걸레
• get backed up: 밀리다
• spray down: 물을 뿌려 청소하다
• separate the whites and the colors: 흰옷과 색깔 옷을 나누다
• spick and span: 매우 깨끗한

I am a bit of a neat freak, so I clean up often.

나는 성격이 매우 깔끔한 편이어서 청소를 자주 한다.

 

I don't like it when dirty dishes get backed up in the sink, so I do the dishes right after eating.

싱크대에 그릇들이 쌓이는 게 싫어서, 식사를 하고 나서 곧장 설거지를 하는 편이다.

 

I do a lot of housework because I feel more refreshed when the house is spick and span.

집안이 깨끗해야 기분이 상쾌하기 때문에 집안일을 열심히 한다.
