Talk about an English study group you are participating in.

 

• get a kick out of: ~을 즐기다
• chew the fat: 수다를 떨다
• pump someone up: ~의 의욕을 북돋아 주다, ~를 흥분하게 하다
• a monthly: 월간 출판물
• if at all possible: 가급적
• catch someone's interest: ~의 관심을 끌다
• bit by bit: 조금씩   =little by little
• bright spot in someone's life: 삶의 활력소

I participate to become fluent in English, and also because I get a kick out of meeting great people to chew the fat.

스터디를 하는 이유는, 영어 실력을 늘리고 싶고 좋은 사람들과 만나서 얘기하는 것을 좋아하기 때문이다.

 

It's easier to pump myself up for language studies when I'm in a group, compared to when I'm on my own.

어학 공부는 혼자서 할 때보다 함께 모여서 할 때 동기 부여가 더 잘된다.

 

If at all possible, we try to speak only in English.

가급적이면 영어로만 대화하려고 노력한다.
