It comes into play with military issues, as well as marine operations in nearby waters.

주변 해역에서의 해양 조업뿐만이 아니라, 군사적으로 이슈가 된다.

 

Korean civilians are living on Dokdo to this day, and the Korean Coast Guard are also stationed there.

현재 독도에는 한국인 민간인인 거주하고 있고, 해양 경찰 소속의 독도 경비대도 주둔하고 있다.

 

This Japanese claim over Dokdo is a point of contention between the two countries.

이러한 일본의 독도 영유원 주장은 양국 간에 큰 마찰 요소 중에 하나다.

 

It really sets me off.
