Why do you think vacations are important?

 

• wind down and relax: 긴장을 풀고 쉬다
• regain one's energy: 원기를 회복하다
• blow new life into: ~에 새로운 활력을 불어넣다
• be well-rested: 푹 쉰 상태이다

If they continue to work without taking breaks, they can get burnt out.

쉬지 않고 계속 일을 하면 지칠 수 있다.

 

They sometimes go on trips or just stay at home to wind down and relax.

여행을 가기도 하고, 그냥 집에서 긴장을 풀고 쉬기도 한다.

 

Trips to various locations, on the other hand, can blow new life into people's lives.

반면에, 다양한 장소로의 여행은 사람들의 삶에 활력을 불어넣을 수 있다.

blow new life into에서 동사 blow대신 breathe로 바꾸어 써도 가능합니다.

 

I could really use a break.

진짜 좀 쉬고 싶다.

여기서 use는 사용하다보다는 필요하다는 의미를 가지고 있습니다. 예를 들어, 친구가 정말로 필요한 경우일 때, I could really use a friend. 이렇게 표현할 수 있습니다.
